Once a regular vanilla cookie cutter gear review site, this dog and pony show has evolved into a blog about my pontification regarding the discourse of contemporary photography.
Spoiler alert - it’s lost its way.
So as a warning, not much gear will be reviewed anymore. And there will be much opinion.
Anyway, the hope of this site is to provide me with a creative outlet. If on the odd chance it provides you with some insight, then all the better!
This internet page will be updated from time to time. By that, I mean when I get around to it. It may take a few weeks between updates. It may take a few months. It may even take a year or so. It really depends on when I have time to go out on a photowalk. Over the last few years, I have had less time. Plus, I think I have run out of content to address, given that there really isn’t all the much more to write about regarding the subject of photography.
Series I started out as a cookie cutter vanilla photography blog, then morphed into an exploration of film photography and idle pontifications. Series II was pretty much a continuation of that exploration in film photography along with more idle pontification. Series III, will only focus on idle pontification, since there really isn’t all that much more to say about photography.
I’ve been doing this blog on and off for many years. I am still surprised that folks still visit my site after all these years. Must be because y’all have nothing better to do? 🤣
I’ve worked in the fashion industry for many years as a stylist, photographer, retoucher, designer, and art director.
I enjoy writing about photography (and pretty much anything else).
I graduated from Parsons School of Design.
